JFK Assassination

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the 35th president of the United States, born in Brookline, Massachusetts on May 29, 1917 and then tragically assassinated on November 22nd, 1963 in Dallas, Texas.

A ten month investigation concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald was the assassin and was acting alone and also concluded that Jack Ruby (the man who shot Lee Harvey Oswald before he could stand trial for his actions) did so by acting alone also. However since then, in polls conducted between 1966 and 2004 as many as 80% of Americans think this was part of a plot or cover up.

JFK was hit in the head and the throat when three shots were fired at his open top car. The President was alive when admitted to hospital, but died and was pronounced so 35 minutes after the shooting took place.

The assassin Lee Harvey Oswald was murdered two days later by Jack Ruby whilst being transferred from police headquarters to a county jail. He was shot at point blank range in the stomach. He died within minutes of entering a local hospital.

Since the assassination of JFK, there have been many conspiracy theories that have arisen about many of the details of the assassination the FBI annouced that have since been challenged by the public.

Many researchers have pointed out what they characterize as inconsistencies, oversights, exclusions of evidence, errors, changing stories or changes made to witness testimony which could suggest a cover up, without actually putting forward a theory as to who actually committed the murder.
